FCS has been supporting social inclusion interventions for more than 18 years now. Through providing grantees and capacity development of DPOs there has been an increased improvement in social inclusion. In 2020, FCS provided TZS 274 million in grantees to Disabled Peoples Organizations (DPOs) to enhance social inclusion and participation of disabled people in the 2020 general elections. In the previous year, more than TZS 200 was provided to DPOs to enhance communication between people with disabilities and justice dispensing institutions such as courts, police and prisons.
